Greetings! This is my website. If you’re reading this, it means I’m already dead and the mole people are one step closer to succeeding in their “underhanded” plot for world domination. Kidding. If you’re still here, please read on to know more about my experience in design.
As you’ve probably surmised, I am Saul Estrada. I am currently employed at OnlineImage® as HTML Team Lead. I’ve been employed there since June of 2014. As HTML Team Lead I oversee, train, and assist the team with getting things done for the Fulfillment Department. I know that’s ambiguous, but that’s because my daily workload is as dynamic as the type of clients the company keeps so we’ll just leave it at that. Just know I often find myself working with:
- HTML
- CSS/SCSS
- WordPress – Frontend, Backend, and templates
- jQuery & javascript
- Command Line
- HeidiSQL
- phpMyAdmin
- FTP
- Git with SSH
- Gulp
- And more
Downloadable CV coming soon.
I earned my Associates Degree of Science for Multimedia from ITT Technical Institute in Hayward, CA in 2003. I’ve worked in marketing in various capacities ranging from Web Designer, Front End Developer, Graphic Designer and Illustrator over the past 14 years.
I have experience working with companies of all sizes, ranging from mom and pop shops to enterprise level accounts like Christian Brothers Automotive, Paul Davis Restoration, and Pillar to Post. I have much experience working closely with developers. I’m familiar with technical concepts and different design/development methodologies. Basically, I’m flexible and can work all kinds of stuff. Cool, right?
There is absolutely nothing I like more than proper planning of a project. I value setting clear expectations and making sure that everything is done properly. I’m something of a perfectionist, once realistic expectations are set of course, and am a big proponent of paying attention to detail. If you’re looking for someone that likes to cut corners, sorry. That’s not my style. Recently, for OnlineImage®, I developed a comprehensive library of reusable marketing collateral components and have been working on improving internal processes for the HTML Team to streamline design and development of new client website builds.
Fun fact: I’m nearly done with revising and illustrating my 120,000 word (YA) manuscript. I’ll share some of the concept art for the book on this site.
Ok. Cool story, huh? Click away look at stuff and contact me if you want. Cheers!
